Dive Shop Retail Assistant

We are looking for 2 dive shop retail assistant for Toucan Diving!

THE MAIN TASK OF OUR DIVE SHOP RETAIL ASSISTANT:

• Advise our guests about the available watersport products and sell proactively.

• Do small repairs on dive and watersportgear and change batteries of dive computers.

• Control inventory and report items that are low in stock in a timely manner.

• Ensure the shop is always stocked.

• Keeping the shop clean and give our guests the best experience and let them walk out of the shop with a smile.

We are looking for a real dive shop star. Someone with experience in dive gear and water sports retail is ideal, but we can teach you a lot too.

• You have excellent customer service skills

• You are an organizational talent in a store; you know exactly where every fin or snorkel belongs

• You are as flexible as an octopus and easily adapt to any situation, our shop will be open from 8 till 8 and you will work in shifts

• You manage stock like a captain manages his ship

• You have a passion for diving and/or other water sports

• You speak both English and Dutch, as our customers are as international as the seas

Are you also an Advanced Open Water Diver? Perfect! First aid knowledge? Check! Retail experience, especially in a tourist environment? Double check! We expect you to be available for 40 hours per week and to handle the responsibilities with both hands.

This job is 100% on location because, let’s be honest, trying on a wetsuit online is not really a success.
