It is evening and the sun is slowly starting to set. You have just arrived at work, at the beautiful Van der Valk Plaza Resort on Bonaire. As you walk past the pool, you hear people laughing and the splashing of water. It seems like everyone is having a great time here and you can feel the excitement in the air.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a pool & bar employee, you are the one who brings this excitement to life. You greet guests with a bright smile and ensure they have everything they need for a fantastic stay. You mix exotic cocktails at the bar and serve tasty snacks by the pool and on the beach. You see how people relax and enjoy the atmosphere you help to create.

FURTHER:

• Preparing drinks and cocktails. You ensure that guests can enjoy tasty and high-quality drinks;
• Serving guests. You ensure that guests feel welcome and that their orders are processed quickly and efficiently;
• Maintaining the bar and pool area. You keep the bar and pool area clean and tidy;
• Providing service. You ensure that guests are satisfied and any complaints are resolved quickly;
• Monitor safety. You keep an eye on the pool area and ensure that guests adhere to the rules to ensure safety.

In addition, it is nice if:

• You have some bartending and/or service experience;
• You are a real mood maker and enjoy working in a team;
• You have at least 2 years of experience in luxury hotels;
• You have a representative appearance;
• You want to work as a Pool & Bar employee for at least one year;
• You are flexible, both in the evenings and weekends;
• You have an SVH certificate and HACCP knowledge; If not, we would be happy to teach you how.
