Landscaping Foreman

Plaza Beach & Dive Resort, a beautiful resort located on the breathtaking island of Bonaire, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Landscaping Foreman to lead our landscaping team and maintain the beautiful surroundings of our resort. As a Landscaping Foreman you are responsible for coordinating the landscaping activities, managing the team and ensuring a green and attractive environment for our guests. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Landscaping Foreman, you and your team ensure that you create a breathtaking environment for the guests. You are responsible for the entire landscaping of the resort.

FURTHER:

• Lead and coordinate the Landscaping team to ensure that all resort landscaping, gardens and outdoor areas are in top condition;

• Carrying out and planning landscaping tasks, including pruning, fertilizing, mowing and planting, according to the established look and feel;

• Oversee the daily operations of the team and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently;

• Identify and report any problems relating to the planting and landscape, and propose appropriate solutions where necessary;

• Ensure the correct and timely purchase of materials and tools for landscaping activities;

• Maintaining equipment and tools to ensure a safe and well-functioning working environment;

• Work with other departments within the resort to coordinate needs;

• Report to the person ultimately responsible and regularly discuss the progress of the landscaping team.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

You motivate and enthuse the team. You have an eye for detail and a passion for creating a beautiful environment at the resort. 

IN ADDITION, IT IS NICE IF YOU:

• At least have 3 years of experience in a thriving role as a Landscaping Foreman;

• Extensive knowledge of plants, trees and landscaping techniques;

• You want to work as a Landscaping Foreman for at least one year;

• Have leadership talent and strength to inspire and manage a team of landscape architects;

• Are fluent in both Dutch and English.
