WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:
- You will be the right hand of our head chef, setting the tone in the kitchen, training your team, and ensuring that every plate that leaves the kitchen is a masterpiece.
- Reporting to and advising the Head Chef while keeping the culinary guest experience at the forefront.
- Assisting the Head Chef in planning and developing the menu.
- Leading and coordinating kitchen activities, especially in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Training and guiding the kitchen team to ensure that dishes are prepared according to recipes and quality standards.
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure consistency and a flavorful presentation.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment according to food safety standards.
- Managing inventory and placing orders to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Actively contributing to the development and implementation of new menu items and culinary concepts.
- Maintaining a positive and constructive working environment within the kitchen team.

Job requirements
WHO ARE YOU
You’re full of energy and enjoy working with the team to ensure a well-running kitchen. You guide your colleagues and serve as a reliable point of contact for them. You motivate and inspire the team, emphasizing their satisfaction and development. For you, hospitality means going the extra mile to ensure our guests leave the resort with a smile. Additionally, you have at least one year of experience as a sous-chef in a large luxury restaurant and hold a diploma in cooking, culinary arts, hospitality management, or an SVH Chef's diploma. You are available full-time (40 hours).
