AS A DIVING INSTRUCTOR YOU ARE:

• Providing PADI diving courses that meet the PADI guidelines and safety standards;

• Guiding diving excursions for beginners and experienced divers;

• Ensuring a safe, enjoyable and educational diving experience for all guests;

• Maintaining the diving equipment and properly functioning equipment for the guests;

• Assisting in organizing and planning boat diving trips and shore diving trips

Toucan Diving is the 5-star PADI diving school of Plaza Beach & Dive resort Bonaire. With our team of over 20 employees, we are busy every day to offer our guests the most beautiful underwater experience and to train them as divers. We have a swimming pool within walking distance, the ocean around the corner and various diving boats with which we show enthusiastic divers the beautiful reef of Bonaire. • A salary between $ 1750 and $ 2000 gross per month, we offer you a salary that matches your experience, knowledge and in our team.

• Opportunity to grow and develop yourself. Depending on where you are now, you can gain knowledge about various PADI specialties or, for example, obtain a boating license.

• Your workplace is a piece of tropical paradise on Bonaire with its own beach, swimming pool and harbor with our own diving boats.

WHO ARE YOU?

• You have a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification

• You have an up-to-date first aid and resuscitation certification

• Teaching diving and showing guests the underwater world of Bonaire is what you like to do every day

• You are clear and open in your communication and excellent guest experience is your top priority. You love to work in a team, together with colleagues. And you have a flexible attitude and are always willing to go for the extra mile for the guests and team.

• In addition to diving, you bring interest and knowledge of, for example, maintaining diving equipment, other water sports or diving-related business. This makes you an addition to our team and we can also learn from you!

• Given the countries our guests come from, it is a requirement that you speak both Dutch and English excellently.
